About The Family

My name is Corrinne and I am the youngest member of this family owned and operated company. Grampa, David, was a born entrepreneur and wanted to start investing in his retired life. My dad, Duane, had a knack for handyman work and liked to jump and go to work! Grandpa bought a few fixer uppers in downtown Grand Rapids and we really jumped in head first. Gutted them through and through and started from scratch. My sister, Sabrina and I started coming along at the young ages of 10 and 13 and we would help as best we could.  Duane's wife Lisa came from 14 years in the insurance business to be the Company Manager. Who would have thought that 2 little kids and a handyman would need some organization to make us successful! For the things that 2 little girls and a seasoned insurance provider couldn’t help with, Duane reached out to some people in the area looking to do some hard work and he started a crew. We had gotten involved with a few other investors with some rental properties keeping us busy and spreading the word. As time passed we stumbled into some higher end jobs and found that the crew we had built was capable of a higher level or workmanship. We started becoming remodelers instead of handymen. Realtors started calling us to help list houses. Then they invited us into their homes to do work. We started working in Heritage Hill and started expanding away from just the big city. Then it happened. The big crash. Everyone was affected. The housing market the worst and the longest. We had to humble ourselves a little and realized that no one was looking to put a bunch of money into a house which was now worth so little. This is where our years of working with people and providing quick and quality work saved us. We were able to sustain with return calls from customers. As the market started to recover people were able to put money into their homes and the housing market became a buyers market. For the first time in a long time people could buy houses and at great prices. This is where we really grew to love our realtors. Since then we have completed millions worth of remodels. People have called us to make their home marketable then called us when they bought the new one to make it their own. We became regulars to West Michigan's many lakes to work on our clients cottages and summer getaways. We have transformed houses into homes, re-imagined spaces, increased home values, restored buildings to former glory, brought homes into this century, and took lifelong residences into their owners new stage of life. There is little as rewarding as seeing a space go from one thing to another and almost nothing as rewarding as helping someone love their home again. Please feel free to take a look around our site and learn about what we offer, what we have done, and get in contact to see what we can do for you.

About The Team

Duane is a Salesman and Manager through and through. He decided years ago to hang up his tool belt and pick up a laptop and phone and has been our coordinator ever since. He has always had a love for motor cross and landscaping and is fascinated by economics. Mad Money is always running in the office. He is a talker.. so beware if you have a pressing schedule…

Lisa is a detail oriented Type A with an healthy love for animals. Her and Duane have a golden lab named Cheyenne, Black Siamese Named Shadow, and anyone who knows them understands that LISA has 6 Banty Chickens and they all have names. Lisa has a love of needlework she inherited from her mother. I bet if you look around our website you will see things that we have built for her. Including a chicken coop!

Tim has been with us since 2002. He started his long career with framing condos in Florida. He can fix just about anything and he has the eye for detail that has raised him up in the ranks to our lead carpenter. He is often able to tell how something is put together before it is pulled apart. He spends his free time at Trivia, playing cards, and fishing. He has become one of the family over time.

Estevan has been with us since 2011. He is a father of 7 boys. Yes, 7. So naturally he is a coach for any sport he can. He got started in roofing and ran his own crew. After a few years with us he has developed a skill for electrical and finish work and has been a part of many high end whole home remodels working with tile. For a while his eldest son worked with us as well and you could tell Estevan teaches a good work ethic. The son joined the army and we lost a team member. But gained his second eldest son, also named Estevan. He started working summers and weekends with us when he was 17 so he became ‘Little E’. Now that he is older he is still the ‘littlest’ one on our team and is most voted for small space work but we dropped the ‘Little’ from his name and now call him E. He has since graduated and is now apart of our full time roster. The ‘E Squad’ is a great work force

Eric started working with my Uncle doing metal racking installation all around the country for large ware houses. He would work with us on a temporary basis from time to time between install jobs. In 2013 his wife became pregnant and he decided he was done traveling. He signed on full time and has grown with us quite a bit. In 2016 His wife had their second child. In the years working with us Eric went from grunt labor to a dependable and quality installer. He would be our ‘Most Improved Player’.

That leaves me, Corrinne. I have always been very curious and enjoyed this line of work. Starting as the token ‘step and fetch’ you would often find me peaking over one of the guys shoulders saying ‘whatcha doing that for?’ Growing up the daughters boss meant I went to work on weekends and in the summer. Often. Once I graduated I went full time. I was ‘one of the guys’ and pretty much fearless. I became the Company Coordinator and am involved in design, estimating, product research, customer coordinating, quality control, and I am working on getting my builders license.
